In my current role at Â鶹ӰԺ, I lead BA (Hons) Business Management programme.

I am Academic Lead for Â鶹ӰԺ International College (Â鶹ӰԺIC) which delivers the first stages of the International Incorporated Bachelor's, Pre-Top Up and International Incorporated Master's programmes.

I am a research-active Senior Lecturer with extensive experience in designing, delivering and assessing undergraduate and postgraduate modules with university level governance roles as (a) Assessment Boards Chair, (b) member of Taught Programmes Management Committee, (c) Faculty Employability & Graduate Outcomes Working Group member, (d) Programme Management Board member, (e) Module Leader, (f) PhD/DBA/UG/PG Supervisor, (g) Personal Tutor and (h) Line Manager.

Prior to academia, I have spent several years working for financial institutions in different roles in insurance, international banking, credit cards, marketing & product development departments. In my last banking role, I was in charge of a Marketing and Product Development unit of a large retail bank in Turkey. In 2002, I left banking to pursue further academic studies which comprised an MSc in Management and Business Research Methods and the award of a PhD by the Open University. I have been teaching a range of courses within Marketing and Management topics since 2007 at different levels including UG and PG levels involving face-to-face, distance learning and blended-learning programmes. I use and promote a range of innovative methods in teaching, learning and assessment including digital and modern modes of delivery. In addition, I design and deliver training to Marketing professionals and SMEs overseas, and hence contribute to the internationalisation of the institutions that I work for.
