Â鶹ӰԺ

Dr Vasileiou is an Associate Professor at Â鶹ӰԺ and Director of the  (EMCSC). She is also Director and Co-Chair for (UKC3).

Her research and leadership span cybersecurity policy, governance, resilience, social engineering, and the human factors shaping digital risk. She has a particular focus on cyber skills and workforce development, championing diversity and inclusion as critical enablers of resilience.

Dr Vasileiou has secured significant funding and led major regional and national initiatives, including the DSIT-funded  programmes and the APPG-backed white paper e. Her work informs national cyber strategy, shapes skills policy, and builds the capacity of organisations to respond to an evolving threat landscape.

Through her interdisciplinary research, external engagement, and policy influence, she drives collaboration between academia, industry, and government. Recognised with national awards for her contributions to diversity in cyber, she is helping define the future of the UK’s cyber workforce and resilience agenda.
